Anfrage: Hallo liebes Käferteam, ein ca. 5 mm kleiner 'Beifang' vom 09.07.2018 aus dem Nördlinger Ries, vom Goldberg (NSG), ca. 450 m, Kalkmagerrasen. Die Sitonae sind ja nicht ohne, doch aufgrund der Stirnfurche könnte es sich um puncticollis oder longulus handeln. Oder liege ich mal wieder falsch? It can be identified by the long and almost straight snout and a double-pointed tooth on the underside of the fore femora (the tip of the tooth is just about visible in image B). Antwort: Hallo kroethe, der rote Halsschild stimmt, aber der Rest leider nicht ;). Das ist ein Blattkäfer, speziell handelt es sich entweder um Oulema melanopus oder O. duftschmidi - die beiden Arten kann man leider nicht am Foto unterscheiden, zur Bestimmung muss man den armen Tierchen das Genital rauszupfen und präparieren :(.
