Anfrage: Is this Ampedus sanguineus ?
I found it on a dead pine tree begin May.
It looks bigger than most click beetles.
(13 mm)
Art, Familie:
Ampedus sp.
Elateridae
Antwort: Hi verstraeten, it might be Ampedus sanguineus, but in this case we should better stick with Ampedus sp. I would need high-res photos of the pronotum and elytra to judge punctation and color of the pubescence. Regards, Christoph

Land, MTB, Datum (Fund):
DE
5107 Brühl (NO)
2013-05-11
Anfrage: Huhu!
Polyphag an verschiedenen Sträuchern. LG, Christoph

Art, Familie:
Phosphuga atrata
Silphidae
