View answered requests for beetle ID
|
On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Aleocharinae (?) with characteristic antennae
Species, family:
Zyras sp.
Staphylinidae
Comment: Hi Marek, in this case I can just determine the genus Pella (still contained in Zyras on kerbtier.de). Yes, it belongs to the subfamily Aleocharinae. Additional pictures could help (for example the puncture of the tergites isn't well visible here), as well as a measured size. Best regards, Moritz
