On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 22.07.2018 - Silpha obscura??? Mit vielen Fragezeichen. Ich habe die Art erst einmal vorher gesehen, doch die Fld. Rippen wirken flach und P. atrata ist es def. nicht. Das Tier hat sich völlig anders verhalten: Es stellte sich tot, zog aber den Kopf nicht ein. Es machte sich ganz steif, um dann plötzlich, vermeintlich unbeobachtet, nach einer Weile wegzurennen. Kanton Baselland, Schafmatt ob Oltingen auf einem geschotterten Alpweg auf ca. 800 m üNN. Danke vielmals für Eure unermüdliche Hilfe! LG Chris
