On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo Bestimmungsteam,
dieser Scarabaeide kam am vergangenen Samstag (20.07.2018) im NSG Hirschacker ans Licht. Ich komme nicht weiter als bis zur Gattung Rhizotrogus. Seht Ihr mehr? Länge (geschätzt): 15 mm.

Request: Hallo zusammen, einen hab' ich noch vom vom 25.7.2018 auf einer Waldlichtung nahe Eckental. Am Boden gerannt und versteckt. Er ließ sich nicht aufhalten und wenn dann war der Kopf nicht zu sehen. Größe mehr als 1 cm. Ich tippe auf Laufkäfer, aber fürchte für mehr wird das eine Bild, das er mir genehmigt nicht reichen. Hmmm, leider keine besseren Fotos möglich, da ich nur Handy und nichts zum Einfangen dabei hatte... der kam mir unbekannt vor, größer und glänzender als z.B. Scymnus, zudem die vorderen Punkte fast mittig auf den Flügeldecken. Ist das Platynaspis luteorubra?

gefunden im Inntal, so ziemlich an allem was gelb blüht, Anthaxia quadripunctata?
Ich habe mal die Kopfbreite und die Stirnbreite am Oberrand der Augen "ausgepixelt".
Ergibt ein Verhälnis von ziemlich genau 2, wie für A. quadripunctata beschrieben
Größe: Männchen 5mm Weibchen 7mm
Höhe: 1550m
