On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hier hab ich nicht nur ein altes sonder auch noch schlechtes Foto von 07.05.2013 Hatte ihn als Cantharis obscura bestimmt. Er scheint auch an der Fühlerbasis schwarz zu sein. Vielleicht auch C. paradoxa > 1 cm aus dem Garten. Besten Dank für eure Mühe. Siggi

Comment: Hallo Siggi, ich würde mit 51% zu 49% Wahrscheinlichkeit zu Cantharis paradoxa tendieren ;). Ich meine, in Foto A sieht der seitliche Halsschildrand eher rund aus. Aber da wage ich keine richtige Bestimmung. Auch die Farbe der Fühlerbasis kann ich nicht so wirklich erkennen, da kämen beide Arten in Frage. Echt krasse Bilder, find ich lustig xD. Aber was soll's, manche Arten gehen ja tatsächlich so! Viele Grüße, Corinna

Request: Auf dem habe ich eine Weile rumgekaut, dabei ist es nicht so schwer, wenn man weiß, wo man schauen muss: Phyllobius maculicornis, eine neue Art für mich. 26.4.18 auf Gebüsch (Weißdorn oder Haselnuss), 4 mm. Herzlichen Dank und viele Grüße

Comment: Hallo Kalli, auch das ist Phyllobius roboretanus. Auf Foto C sieht man, dass alle Schenkel ungezähnt sind, was den maculicornis ausschließt. Ebenfalls auf Foto C sehe ich Haare auf der Unterseite des Hinterleibs; die sehr ähnliche Art P. virideaeris hat dort kleine runde Schuppen. Siehe auch meine Antwort zu #117750 - bei diesen beiden Arten braucht man ein Foto der Unterseite, oder wenigstens so von der Seite, dass man das "Deckmaterial" erkennen kann. Comment: Hallo Kalli, der hat Dich mit seinen weit auseinanderstehenden Augen und stark gebogenem Fühlerschaft in die Irre geführt. P. maculicornis hat aber deutliche Schenkelzähne, die hier fehlen. Damit kommen wir statt dessen zu P. roboretanus oder virideaeris. Und da Du das Bäuchlein des Käfers so hervorragend fotografiert hast - das ist ganz wichtig bei diesen beiden Arten! - kann man sehen, dass die Unterseite des Hinterleibs nur behaart ist. Somit ist es ein Phyllobius roboretanus. Beim virideaeris trägt die Unterseite dagegen kleine runde Schuppen. Knuffiges Tierchen :). Danke für die Meldung und viele Grüße, Corinna

Request: Hier gehe vom Weibchen des Malachius bipustulatus aus. 09.06.2013 im Garten entdeckt. Die Größe kommt mir allerdings rund 1 cm vor. Blatt ist vom Pfeifenstrauch.
