On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Keine schönen Bilder, da möchte ich um Entschuldigung bitten! Dieser Käfer hatte auf einem Fahrradweg sein Ende gefunden :-(( Vermutlich ein verschiedener Byrrhus pilula. So spät im Jahr hätte ich mit dem gar nicht mehr gerechnet, um ehrlich zu sein, aber ein Blick auf das Phänogramm zeigt, dass es nicht außergewöhnlich ist. Ca. 8,6mm, 28.08.2018

Comment: Hallo André, hier geht es für mich leider nur bis zur Gattung Cyclocephala. Ich glaube, die sind ganz schön fies zu bestimmen. Es gäbe z.B. C. multiplex, oder auch C. distincta, aber bei dieser umfangreichen Gattung ist mir kein wirklich seriöser Vorschlag möglich. Hat sonst noch jemand ne Idee? Viele Grüße, Corinna

die KI schlägt als erstes Dorytomus taeniatus vor, mit 2%. 4,5mm lang inklusive Rüssel, nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit auf einer frischen Schnittfläche einer gefällten Sal-Weide. Köln, 16.02.2019. Ist eine Bestimmung anhand der Fotos möglich?
