On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Kaugummi, das Problem kenne ich selbst sehr gut, die sind halt alle sehr klein. Bei der Unterscheidung Spedophilus marshami und testaceus hilft mehrere Bilder machen, wenn die laufen und wenn dann zufällig eins dabei ist, in dem mindestens ein Fühler geradeaus in der Bildebene liegt (wenn der Fühler auf den Betrachter hin/weg zeigt, keine Chance), dann kann man beurteilen, ob Fühlerglied 7 deutlich länger ist als breit (marshami), oder halt ungefähr so breit wie lang (testaceus). Hier geht das leider nicht und damit leider nur bis zur Gattung Sepedophilus. Viele Grüße, Holger
