On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 17.04.2019 - (KI: Cicindela campestris, 46%, Rang 1) Ich habe die Art noch nie mit dieser schönen bräunlichen Fld. Färbung gesehen. Das Tier flog am Waldwegrand auf, sonst hätte ich es wohl gar nicht bemerkt. Aargau, Kaisten auf ca. 330 m üNN. Danke vielmals für Eure stets freundlichen Antworten! LG Chris

Comment: Hallo KD, ui, der ist gemein :D. Das Schildchen ist zwar weiß, aber ganz anders geformt als bei Phyllobius pyri. Am Rüssel kann man auch dank der leicht schrägen Draufsicht seitlich verlaufende Fühlergruben erkennen, also ist das ein Polydrusus. Mit dem Farbmuster, dem markanten Schildchen und den langen Haaren kommt dann nur Polydrusus marginatus in Frage. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Corinna
