On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 21.04.2019 - Totfund Carabus sp.! Vor Ort hielt ich das Tier für einen C. granulatus. Ich habe es mitgenommen, weil es schon verstorben war und schon ein wenig zu heiss für meine kleine Helferin. Heute habe ich mich nun an den Fund erinnert ... am Bildschirm sind mir nun Zweifel gekommen. Das Tier wirkt irgendwie "wuchtiger" als die C granulatus Exemplare, die ich bisher gesehen habe. Aber C. cancellatus ist es nicht, man kann das erste dunkle Fühlerglied noch gut erkennen und die Beinchen sind auch ganz schwarz *puuuuhhh*. Gefunden (bei einem toten Tier kann man das sicher so sagen) habe ich es auf einem Feldweg. Aargau, Eiken auf ca. 330 m üNN. Danke vielmals für Euren geduldigen Käferunterricht! LG Chris

Request: 27.04.2019 - (KI: Hippodamia variegata, 6%, Rang 1) Diese Art meinte ich auch vor mir zu haben :-)) Ich hoffe, dass alle drei Tiere dazu gehören. Das Paar, das sich bei dem Regenwetter gegenseitig ein wenig Wärme gespendet hat, wollte ich da nicht rausfingern. Das einzelne Tier hat sich mit meiner Handwärme offenbar recht wohl gefühlt. Es konnte nur schwer dazu überredet werden, wieder in die Gräser am Wegrand zurückzukehren, wo ich es angetroffen hatte. Aargau, Oeschgen auf ca. 330 m üNN. DANKE! Ein interessantes Käferwochenende wünscht Euch Chris
