On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo kfoo, herzlich Willkommen auf Kerbtier.de und vielen Dank für die erste Anfrage. Meiner Meinung nach handelt es sich um ein Männchen von Attagenus smirnovi (ein Speck- oder Teppichkäfer, der etwas respektlos auch gerne mal als "Wodkakäfer" bezeichnet wird. Die Männchen dieser Art zeichnen sich durch ein stark verlängertes letztes Fühlerglied aus. Vielleicht kann aber eine/r andere Admin das noch bestätigen. Die besten Grüße vom Bodensee Oliver Hm, dieses Merkmal haben neben smirnovi auch schaefferi und brunneus. Ich denke, hier gehen bei dem vorliegenden Foto besser nur bis Attagenus sp. LG, Christoph
