On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo,

Species, family:
Melolontha melolontha
Scarabaeidae
Comment: Hallo Rüsselkäferin, na also, geht doch! Bestätigt als Melolontha melolontha. Danke für die Meldung. LG, Christoph

Danke Jozef.
Species, family:
Dorcatoma cf. robusta
Anobiidae
Comment: Hi Jozef, checking the key of the Central European species this might be indeed Dorcatoma robusta. But there remains a fair amount of uncertainty and a specimen should be inspected by an expert to confirm oder correct. Regards, Christoph

Species, family:
Paederus littoralis
Staphylinidae
LG, Christoph

Request: Garten in Johannisberg, ca. 175 m NN, 30.5.2014, Anthrenus fuscus?
Species, family:
Anthrenus fuscus
Dermestidae
