On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Oedemera nobilis m. - stimmts?
Kräftiges Exemplar, etwa 10 bis 15 mm
In Trichterwinde auf neu angelegter Blumenwiese.
PS Mich wundert, dass die KI nur zwischen 5 und 7 % gibt, je nachdem, wie man vorher dreht/schneidet, dachte, das Teil sei markanter.

Comment: Hi majo, this is either Mycetophagus piceus or Mycetophagus salicis, which are difficult to separate from photos. M. piceus is found in dryer deciduous forests (oak, beech), whereas salicis in more humid ones (poplar, willows, etc). Best regards, Christoph
