On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

diesen hübschen, ca. 10 mm großen Rüsselkäfer fand ich gestern (14.07.2019) nebst min. 4 Artgenossen im Anzinger-Forst (Oberbayern). Ich würde sagen es ist Otiorhynchus geniculatus, könnt Ihr das bestätigen? Vielen Dank für Eure Mühe.

Comment: Hallo hapevau, nicht schlecht, das ist Benibotarus taygetanus. Die stenotope, silvicole Art kommt in Mittel- und Teilen Osteuropas vor. In Deutschland ist sie vom Aussterben bedroht (RL 1).
