On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Dryocoetes villosus? Mich irritiert, dass die Punktierung so grob ist. Auf Vergleichsbildern wirkt sie feiner. Bei allen anderen Dryocoetes-Arten, ausgenommen vielleicht D. himalayensis, ist sie jedoch noch viel feiner. Und D. himalayensis ist es eher nicht. Ein Hinweis auf D. villosus ist, dass der Käfer auf einer Kastanie war. Innerhalb der Gattung lebt nur D. villosus auf Kastanien. Ca. 2,8mm. 27.05.2019

in diesem Jahr fand ich zum ersten Mal an der im Gimbsheimer Sand überall wachsenden Luzerne mehrer Male diese hübschen Hyperas. 5mm. Könnt ihr sagen, welche es ist? Ich glaube, die sind nicht ohne... 25.05.19 Merci
