On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Ich habe den Verdacht, dass es ein kleiner Freund Nargus brunneus ist. Der Halsschild ist nicht so matt wie bei N. wilkinii und die Flügeldecken sehen weniger gewölbt als bei N. anisotomoides aus. Im Laubwald, ca. 2,2mm. 10.05.2019 Vielen Dank!

Request: Atomaria sp.! Eigentlich müsste die Art ganz einfach bestimmbar sein. Man sieht den doppelten Seitenrand des Halsschilds und damit bleiben in Deutschland nur noch vier Arten (munda, morio, nigripennis, ornata). Aber nach Studium des Atomaria-Schlüssels und Bildvergleich meine ich, dass dieser Käfer zu keiner der vier Arten gehören kann... ihr seht, ich bin etwas ratlos! Bitte helft mir bei der Lösung dieses Problems! Im Laubwald, ca. 1,8mm. 10.05.2019
