On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Wien, auf Baubrache. Könnte mir Altica tamaricis vorstellen, allerdings steht dort auch eine Birke. Generell waren dort zieml viele Alticini zu sehen, vll alle der gleichen Art? Keine von denen auf einem Baum gefunden, sonder in Bodennähe. 20.03.2020

Request: Liebes Käfer-Team,
am 13.06.2014 fand ich unter einer Stück Pappelstamm, der wohl im Winter/Frühjahr abgebrochen war, mehrere dieser Larven, aus denen dann etwas unerwartet am 11.08.2015 Protaetia aeruginosa schlüpfte. Gefunden im NSG "Eich-Gimbsheimer Altrhein" zwischen Worms und Oppenheim.

Request: Guten Abend, diese Larve fand ich am 20.12.2019 in einem vertrockneten Baumpilz, verm. Schwefelporling (das Larvenfoto ist vom 13.02.2020, da war sie 12 mm lang). Heute ist daraus ein Tillus elongatus-Weibchen geschlüpft. Isartal bei Thalkirchen, Imago geschlüpft am 21.03.2020. Danke und viele Grüße, Wolfgang
