On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 24.03.2020 - (KI: Hypera postica, 3%, Rang 1) Puuuuhhhh! Jetzt habe ich mir aber seeeeehr viel Mühe gegeben! Die Art ist mir neu und ich hätte sie spontan der Gattung "Heartbreaker" zugeordnet ;-) Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich bis zu einem Bestimmungvorschlag kommen würde! CR hat in Antwort 88193 die Verwechslungsart beschrieben, aber nach allen Vergleichen wage ich mal (gemeinsam mit Klein-Kerbie), diese Art vorzuschlagen. Das hübsche Tier war gemessen (ohne Rüssel) 4 mm klein und es sass an einer Hauswand in der Altstadt von Laufenburg. Aargau auf ca. 330 m üNN. Dankeschön für Eure Zeit!! LG Chris

Comment: Hallo Chris, bestätigt als Hypera postica (don't tell my heart, my achy breaky heart). Ja, CR hat in der Tat die andere Art beschrieben und auch gleich falsch buchstabiert... *schnell-korrigier* xD. Also H. plantaginis hat einen seitlich auffallend gerundeten Halsschild. Außerdem hat er nicht diesen ausgedehnten dunklen Bereich beiderseits der Flügeldeckennaht wie man ihn hier sieht. Danke für die Meldung dieses attraktiven Rüsslertiers. Viele Grüße, Corinna
