View answered requests for beetle ID
|
On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 05.04.2020 - Harpalus cf. rubripes?? LG Chris

Request: Is this Uloma culinaris? 5.4.2020
Regards,
Mihajlo
Species, family:
Uloma sp.
Tenebrionidae
Comment: Hi Mihajlo, Uloma rufa and culinaris can be distinguished by the base of the pronotum: is there a continuous rim all along the base (culinaris) or is this rim discontinued (rufa). Here the middle looks pretty even but it's hard to judge from a dorsal view so I don't dare to go beyond genus level. However, I'll wait for a second opinion. Best regards, Juergen - PS Next time try different views, you can upload up to three pictures.
