On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 18.04.2020 - Podagrica sp.! Das wage ich mal vorzuschlagen, obwohl ich die Flohhopserfamilie bisher kaum fotografieren konnte, da mir die Kleinen meist mit grossen Sprüngen weghüpfen. Dieser Käfer war etwas "geduldiger", bzw. machte er nur kurze Sprünge ... vielleicht war er erschöpft!? Wer weiss! Das Tier fiel mir an einer Hauswand in der Altstadt von Laufenburg auf, weil Kopf und HS so wunderschön rot leuchteten. Aargau auf ca. 330 m üNN. Dankeschön für Eure vielen Zusatzinformationen auch bei grosser Anfragenflut! LG Chris
