On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: An einem Holunderbusch hatten wir am 30.04.2020 eine ganze Reihe dieser kleinen Marienkäfer. Größe ca. 2-3mm. Könnte es Scymnus sp. sein? Ich kann leider nicht mehr sagen, dass es definitiv jedesmal das selbe Tier auf den Fotos ist, dafür wuselten sie zuviel herum bis man halbwegs scharfe Bilder hatte ;)

Comment: Hallo andpost, das könnte Scymnus subvillosus sein. Eigentlich eine mehr südeuropäische wärmeliebende Art, in Deutschland sehr selten in Wärmegegenden gefunden wird. Aus Dresden ist die Art aber sogar gemeldet. Unter anderem ernährt sie sich auch von der Holunderblattlaus. Danke für die Meldung. lg, Gernot

Comment: Hallo Lukas, sicher kann ich es anhand des Fotos leider nicht sagen, da ich Agapanthia intermedia nicht ausschließen kann. Zwar verschwimmen die Flügeldeckenspitzen leicht in Unschärfe, ich sehe aber auch nach Ranzoomen keine helle Behaarung dort, was für Agapanthia violacea spricht. Wie gesagt, für mich leider nicht ohne Zweifel, deshalb mit cf. Viele Grüße, Daniel

Request: Hallo Bestimmungsteam, bei diesem bedauernswerten Tierchen, auf das offenbar jemand draufgetreten ist, dürfte es sich wohl um Timarcha tenebricosa handeln. Die Funddaten: 02.05.2020, Michaelskapelle, Obergrombach bei Bruchsal, KL: 19 mm (gemessen). Viele Grüße Jochen
