On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo, liebes Käferteam, ein fast komplett mit Pollen panierter Marienkäfer, nach dem, was man gerade noch so entdecken kann, könnte es ein Hyperaspis campestris sein, Größe ca. 2-3 mm, gefunden an einer Hauswand in der Altstadt von Gernsbach, 22.04.2020. Request: Hi, found in North of France, at Cassel, the 10.04.2020 , on the side of a path, in a wood. The specimen was around 4-5 mm long. Maybe Agriotes acuminatus ? Photo with a phone with a macro lens

Request: Liebes Käferteam, 04.05.2020, bei Moudon (Kanton Waadt, ca. 500m ü.M.), ein Blattkäfer, ca. 4mm, auf einem Brückengeländer sitzend. Bei dem kam ich nicht weiter, bis ich heute Morgen auf kerbtier.de einen ähnlichen Käfer gesehen habe, deshalb vermute ich Aphthona sp. Liebe Grüsse und Danke für die wertvolle Bestimmungshilfe.

Request: Diesen Käfer haben wir am 03.05.2020 im Seifersdorfer Tal bei Dresden entdeckt. Der Käfer war sehr klein, kleiner als 5mm. Kann das ein Eusphalerum abdominale sein? Vielen Dank!

Comment: Hallo andpost, hier geht es für mich leider nur bis zur Gattung Eusphalerum. Ich habe mir eben auch nochmal den Schlüssel angesehen. E. abdominale erscheitn aufgrund des dunklen Fleckes auf dem Pronotum möglich, aber ich kenne mich in der Gattung einfach zu wenig aus. Vielleicht weiß noch jemand anderes mehr. Viele Grüße, Hannes
