On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Felix, das Tier halte ich für einen Luperus: 3. Fühlerglied deutlich länger als 2. Halsschildvorderrand scheint gerandet (das ist allerdings schwer auszumachen). Und die Vorder- und Hinterecken haben ein sichtbares Zähnchen, das ist bei Calomicrus kaum wahrnehmbar. LG, Christoph

Request: Hallo, bei diesem Käfer tendiere ich zu Valgus hemipterus, jedoch empfinde ich die Färbung nicht ganz typisch, ca. 10mm, gefunden am 26.05.2020 im Wohngrundstück in 01896 Lichtenberg. Interessant finde ich vor allem die Abwehrhaltung nach Berühren. Liege ich richtig oder geht es noch um eine andere Art? Viele Grüße und vielen Dank Lordus.

Käfer befand sich auf einem Gräserhalm, wurde behutsam umgesetzt und wieder zurückgesetzt. Er scheint eventuell Probleme mit einem Flügel zu haben.
