On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo konradZ, das ist wahrscheinlich Sphenophorus striatopunctatus. In Deutschland ist das einfach, S. piceus und abbreviatus sind verschollen, also sind wohl alle die es noch gibt striatopunctatus. In A ist abbreviatus noch gemeldet und ich kann die am Foto nicht wirklich unterscheiden, daher nur mit cf. Viele Grüße, Holger

Request: Huhu! Dieser mein erster Drilus concolor (jauchz!) tat sich schwer beim Herumkrabbeln auf der haarigen Königskerze. Grüße und vielen Dank für eure Arbeit! - - - [ 15.6.20, Garten, 90 m ] - P.S.: Da D. flavescens aus HN nicht gemeldet ist, dürfte die Larve aus #110842 (Link: https://www.kerbtier.de/cgi-bin/deSnapView.cgi?preID=110842#110842 ) vom exakt selben Fundort (mein Garten) ebenfalls D. concolor sein, könnt ihr das nachtragen?

Comment: Hallo Vera, zuerst einmal bestätigt als Drilus concolor. Bei der Larve hast du vermutlich auch Recht nur bestimmen könne wir die eben nicht. Ich ändere die daher auf cf. concolor, da immer ein letzter Restzweifel bleibt. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Holger
PS: Bei mir im Garten Nähe Mainz auch nur concolor und jetzt sehr selten, da drei jahrelang kaum Regen = keine Schnecken
