Comment: Moin Mondkäfer, absolute Sicherheit fehlt. Man bräuchte eine Gute Aufnahme von der Seite, auf welcher der 7. und 8. Streifen der Flügeldecken zu erkennen ist. Comment: Hallo Mondkäfer, danke für den Nachtrag zu Anfrage # 22437. Auf Bild A sieht man hier deutlich, dass der 8. Flügeldeckenstreifen (das ist der letzte vor dem Randstreifen) vorn weit vor der Schulterbeule aufhört. Deshalb ist es sicher A. prodromus. Ansonsten wäre noch A. sphacelatus in Frage gekommen, der aber auch meist einen feinen gelben Halsschildhinterrand haätte. Viele Grüße, Michael

Comment: Hallo Kaugummi, das sollte ein Männchen von Abax parallelepipedus sein. Das an den Schultern wulstig hervortretende 7. Fld.-Intervall kennzeichnet ihn als Abax (s. str.). Der zur Basis wenig verengte, unpunktierte Halsschild macht ihn dann schließlich zum A. parallelepipedus. In Europa ohne den hohen Norden. In feuchten Wäldern überall sehr häufig. LG, Christoph

Comment: Hallo Gerd, ohne jeden Zweifel bestätigt als Meloe decorus. Jahreszeit passt perfekt, die sind immer sehr früh dran. Natürlich ein ausgezeichneter Fund! Kaspisches Faunenelement, von Ostfrankreich über Deutschland und Norditalien bis Südrussland und Balkanhalbinsel. In Deutschland aktuell nur aus BA, HS, PF und TH gemeldet, RL 1. LG, Christoph

Request: Fund vom 30.03.15. Ca. 3-5 cm groß.Gefunden ca. 50 cm tief im Boden, in Lehm-Sand-Humus-Gemenge. Bei meiner Anfrage neulich fiel die Definition auf Rosenkäfer, hier zähle ich jedoch ein Beinpaar weniger und sehe mehr Borsten. Ein Indiz für eine andere Art ?

Comment: Moin Vernal, ich kann fünf Beine zählen, was bedeutet, dass das sechste so ungünstig liegt, dass man es auf dem Bild nicht sieht (oder verlustig ist). Die haben alle sechs Beine, so dass dieses Merkmal als Bestimmungsmerkmal entfällt. Die Borsten sind dagegen sehr gut erkannt. Und wenn Du jetzt noch den Körperbau vergleichst, stellst Du fest, dass die Cetonia-Larven dicker, plumper sind, als die im Bild hier. Ich kann es leider nicht 100% sicher sagen, gehe aber von Amphimallon aus und dann die häufige Art A. solstitiale, also der Junikäfer, der kleine Vetter vom Maikäfer. Viele Grüße, Klaas Kann Klaas nur zustimmen, jedoch Rhizotrogus aestivus, der in der Kölner Bucht ebenfalls häufiger ist und den ich aus Frechen-Königsdorf kennem an dem Foto nicht ausschließen. Request: Datum: ab 19.03.15. Ca. 6-8 cm lang. In den letzten Tagen laufen diese Käfer in unserer Wohnküche herum. Zur gleichen Zeit haben wir ein neues Ledersofa bekommen. Gibt es da einen Zusammenhang, zumal unsere Tochter gestern einen Käfer ein einer Ritze gefunden hat.

Comment: Hallo chris, das ist ein Rüsselkäfer, Simo hirticornis oder variegatus, so am Foto leider nicht zu trennen. Die Tiere haben sicher nix mit dem Ledersofa zu tun, es sind Pflanzenfresser, deren Larven sich an Wurzeln unterschiedlicher Pflanzen entwickeln. Viele Grüße, Michael

ich denke, es ist wieder ein Hypera postica, Größe, 4-5 mm, Fundort heute, 31.3.2015 an einer Hauswand in Gernsbach. Vermutlich ist er aus einer Schmutzecke gekrochen.Falls meine Bestimmung stimmt, ist es dieses Mal ein "Einheimischer", das letzte Mal (22196) war es ein Schweizer.
