On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Moin ihr Coleoptera-Fans, unbehaarte Stirn und somit eindeutig. Der Nachwuchs musste heute (14.05.2015) unbedingt seine Beute in den Lupenbecher stecken und Minuten später haben die beiden nichts anderes mehr im Kopf als Sex (siehe drittes Foto). Scheint, als würde die Dame auf beißen stehen. Die Kerbe vor den Flügeldecken sieht fast so aus, als wäre sie dafür geschaffen.

Comment: Moin Bergmänndle, leider ist hier nichts zu reißen. Der linke scheint Grübchen auf dem Halsschild zu haben, womit er in die engere Auswahl um Anthaxia quadripunctata/godeti kommt, dem rechten scheinen sie zu fehlen, sie können aber auch durch das Staubgefäß der Blüte verdeckt sein, was ihn dann aber letzten Endes entweder auch zum Zwillingspärchen quadripunctata/godeti oder eben zu den anderen kupferigen Anthaxien stellt. Genau Bestimmung nicht möglich. Viele Grüße, Klaas

Comment: Moin Mister aus der Pampa, das ist eine Chrysomelidae. Leider erfolgt bei dieser Gattung (Galerucella) die Unterscheidung über's Genital, so dass ich nur vorsichtig vermute, dass es sich um den Seerosenblattkäfer (Galerucella nymphaeae handelt. Request: Forest on, fagus sylvatica fresh cutted pile of wood. Byrrhus x ? pustulatus,signatus ? As records shows it should exist here. Googling images reveals pattern like this on those two specieses. Body 9.19 mm.
