On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Liebe Käfercrew, noch ein Bock? Die Fühler lassen es zumindest vermuten. Schätzungsweise 11 mm. heute (22.05.2015) auf dem Baumstamm in einem Nadelwald. Die grünen Farben sind auf dem Foto ziemlich originalgetreu wiedergegeben. Saß anteilnahmslos rum und machte keinerlei Anstalten sich mal zu bewegen. Viele Grüße!

Request: Coccinella cf. septempunctata - nochmals: gleicher Text wie in #26084, nur dass mir dieses Tier anstatt die HS Unterseite zu zeigen, einfach sein Hinterteil zugekehrt hat. Wegen der Regentropfen ist die Grösse der Punkte nur schwer zu beurteilen. Und jetzt gebe ich es auf, die Art von C. magnifica unterscheiden zu wollen. Sie sind so oder so hübsch!!! LG, Christoph - PS: Zum Fotographieren der Halsschildunterseite kannst Du den Käfer in ein Gefäß aus transparentem Plastik setzen und dann die Unterseite durch das Plastik ablichten. Ohne Blitzen geht das problemlos.

Request: Coccinella septempunctata - da habe ich nun allerlei Verrenkungen gemacht, um die HS Unterseite dieser flinken kleinen Krabbler fotografisch zu erwischen ... mit dem einzigen Erfolg, dass ich von Passanten "sehr schonend" über mein Handeln befragt wurde. Wegen der gleichmässig kleinen Punkte bin ich aber mal ganz mutig und lasse das cf. weg. Aargau, Feldwegrand Frick auf ca. 340 m üNN am 28.04.2015 - Danke vielmals für euren Unterricht! LG Chris
