View answered requests for beetle ID

On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 13.6.15 Kälberhof-Alpe Tatzenriesköpfle ca. 1000 m bereits Österreich. Ein Keil rechts und links Bayern.
Ist das Otiorhynchus fuscides ?
Species, family:
Otiorhynchus cf. tenebricosus
Curculionidae

LG, Christoph

Request: Which Cassida is this? Found in low vegetation at forest border. A small species, about 4-5 mm.
Species, family:
Cassida flaveola
Chrysomelidae
Comment: Hi Frysk, what I see from the photo it should be Cassida flaveola. But some residual uncertainty remains. Best regards, Christoph

LG, Christoph

Species, family:
