On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Micropeplus marietti, am 02.10.2021 aus dem Laub und Mulm zwischen den Stämmen einer Esche gesiebt. 131m, Auwald am Rhein, nahe La Wantzenau bei Straßburg. 2,48mm lang. Der kleine Panzer von Staphy hat mir immer wieder seine unerwartet großen Flügel gezeigt (B) und sie danach trotz des recht unbeweglichen Hinterleibs wieder sehr kompakt verstaut. Viele Grüße, Aron

Comment: Hallo Christoph, hier geht es für mich leider nur bis zur Familie Apionidae. In Spanien hab ich keine Chance mit den grau bepelzten Winzlingen. Ich hab mir den schwarzen Punkt genau angeschaut und er sitzt nicht mittig. Also ist das vermutlich eine abgeschrubbelte Stelle, kein Merkmal. Das wäre nett :). Dann wäre es ein Apionus olens ;).
