On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Diesen Käfer habe ich heute auf einem Feldweg an einer Wiese gesehen. Die Größe war ca. 15mm. Ich vermute auch hier einen Aaskäfer. Ich hatte erst an Silpha tristis gedacht, wegen der kurzen Flügeldecken, aber der scheint deutlichere Linien zu haben. Lässt es sich bestimmen? Viele Grüße, Andreas
