On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Spachtelkönig, herzlich willkommen auf kerbtier.de! Die Art kann ich leider nicht genau bestimmen, da es zwei sehr ähnliche gibt, aber der Käfer gehört wohl in die Gattung Oryzaephilus. Die Lebensweise der beiden Arten ist ohnehin sehr ähnlich, beide findet man hauptsächlich an Getreide und Getreideprodukten. Um die Käfer loszuwerden, muss man die befallenen Produkte entsorgen. Such mal Deine Vorräte ab, Reis, Getreide, Müsli, Tiertrockenfutter sind die üblichen Verdächtigen. LG, Christoph
