On this page you can find photos submitted by users. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case at least a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.
Requests to the kerbtier.de ID team can be submitted on the request page. The answered requests are published here shortly (currently 2 hours on average) after submitting.

Request: 06.06.2022, Nordhessen, Edersee/W, Nationalparkzentrum, Wegrand, auf orangerotem Habichtskraut. Ca. 6 mm groß, auch bei der Paarung. Oft sind es 2 unterschiedlich gefärbte Käfer, die sich paaren: ein grüner mit einem eher blauen Partner, beide aber metallisch leuchtend. Trotzdem Crytocephalus sp. ? LG.
