On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo zimorodek, bestätigt als Coccinella hieroglyphica. Nord- und Mitteleuropa, Sibirien, Nordamerika. Auf Heide- und Moorgebiete spezialisiert und hier vor allem auf Calluna-Heide und Moorkiefer Pinus rotundata, wo sie hauptsächlich der Blattlaus Aphis callunae verfolgt. Request: 29.10.2015 im Uferbereich eines Bachs im Kies. 475m üNn. Ca.5-6mm. Wieder eines dieser "doofen" Bembidion, aber zumindest mal ein anderes,dafür nicht mehr ganz so fit... Färbung (Fühler, Palpen, Beine, Flügeldecken), Körperbau (langgezogene Form, schmaler Halsschild + 2 stark punktierte Furchen zwischen den Augen) und Fundort (Kies-Ahlenläufer) führen mich zu Bembidion decorum.
