On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo DanielR, Kommando zurück! Hier muss ich mich korrigieren, Klaas hat mir hier gerade die korrekte Lösung zugerufen: Keine Apionide, sondern Anthonomus rubi. In der gesamten Paläarktis verbreitet. Larve in den Knospen von Rosengewächsen. Sorry & LG, Christoph - PS: Nach Möglichkeit Dorsalperspektive mitliefern, die hilft gegen solche Irrtümer.

Comment: Hallo ruby62, ein Weibchen von Anastrangalia sanguinolenta. Verwechslungsarten sind A. dubia und A. reyi, bei denen das Weibchen jedoch einen schwarzen Fld.-Seitenrand aufweist. Europa, Kaukasus, bis Westsibirien. Montan bis subalpin, Larve in totem Holz von Tanne und Fichte. Käfer auf Blüten. Nicht selten. LG, Christoph

diesen 4,9 mm großen Carabiden fand ich gestern in der Krautschicht an einem Waldweg (Buchenwald). Handelt es sich hierbei um Bembidion deletum?

Comment: Moin Ruth, ich weiß nicht, ob die Perspektive es hier so erschwert oder was das Problem ist. Gattung Pterostichus ist aus meiner Sicht unzweifelhaft. Ich vermute hier einen Vertreter aus dem Komplex um Pterostichus nigrita. In Frage kämen P. nigrita und P. rhaeticus, aber irgendwie scheint das Halsschild hier nicht zu passen. Comment: Hallo Urs, ja, der kann als Mycetophagus atomarius bestätigt werden. Bei den Arten der Untergattung Ulolendus (decempunctatus, atomarius, piceus und salicis) muss man sich den Fühlerbau anschauen: Länge des Endglieds (11) vs. Länge von FGld. 9+10: Mehr als 2x so lang: M. decempunctatus; genau 2x so lang: (piceus/salicis); viel kürzer: M. atomarius. Europa. An Baumschwämmen, unter verpilzter Rinde. LG, Christoph

Comment: Hallo DanielR, der gehört nicht zu den Apioniden, sondern zur Gattung Bradybatus. Es handelt sich um Bradybatus kellneri. Ähnlich werden können ggf. Anthonomus-Artem, die aber alle gezähnte Schenkel aufweisen. Europa bis Vorderasien. Um diese Jahreszeit vor allem im collinen Bereich auf Ahorn. LG, Christoph

Nur deswegen zu erkennen, weil es 5-gliedrige Hintertarsen hat und erweiterte Vordertarsen (gut zu sehen in Foto B).
