On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Ein Bembidion vom 10.7.23 auf Waldweg. Ich sehe nicht mal andeutungsweise was vom siebten Streifen, aber das kommt bei Bembidion lampros ja ab und zu vor. Die Auflösung reicht auf jeden Fall, die Vertiefungen am Flügeldeckenrand sind klar zu erkennen. 3.7 mm. Schönen Dank und viele Grüße

Comment: Hallo Markus, das kann gut melanarius sein. Auch der Fundort passt. Allerdings ist winkleri extrem ähnlich und die Auflösung des Halsschilds, an dem man sie unterscheiden kann, reicht jedenfalls für mich hier nicht aus. Und winkleri ist in BS auch gemeldet, daher bleibe ich erstmal bei der Gattung Ocypus. Viele Grüße, Jürgen
