On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo in die Runde, ca. 10 dieser Zwerge fand ich am 06.05.2016 am Markelsdorfer Huk, Nordfehmarn, auf einer Bank an einem Feldweg (Gebüsch rundherum). Ca. 2 -2,5 mm groß; leider finde ich keine Entsprechung in der Familienübersicht. Wie heißt der Kleine?

Comment: Hallo Schwabe, das ist eine Art aus dem Amara communis - Komplex. Am foto sind die nicht leicht zu bestimmen. Wenn mich mein (gewagter) Blick nicht täuscht, könnte es A. communis sein, aber das ist sehr unsicher, da man die Beborstung der Flügeldecken nicht eindeutig sehen kann. Viele Grüße, Fabian
