View answered requests for beetle ID

On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Any opinion about this Staphylinidae? I would like to know at least the genus, even with "cf". At least what's the most probable genus
Species, family:
Staphylinidae sp.
Staphylinidae
Comment: Hi MiguelBk, no chance, in this case I can just determine the family Staphylinidae. It reminds me though of genus Habrocerus, but any determination in this case should be carried out by an expert, with the specimen at hand. Best regards, Christoph

Beleg Callistus lunatus.

LG, Christoph
