On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Cedric, es ist Agrilus guerini, erkennbar an der spitz ausgezogenen Fld.-Spitzen. Von Ostfrankreich bis zum Schwarzen Meer, im Norden bis Südschweden, von Niehuis als kaspisches Faunenelement eingestuft. An verschiedenen Weidenarten, vor allem Strauchweiden an suboptimalen Standorten. Nachweis meist durch Fraßbild, Freilandfunde des Käfers sind selten. In Deutschland RL 3. Cooler Fund, hab ich letztes Wochenende selbst zum ersten Mal gefunden! LG, Christoph

Request: Hallo an das Team, ist das Litargus connexus? Kam etwas taumelig angeflogen, war aber sehr wuselig, im Kiefernwald bei Prieros, 21.05.2016. Etwas abseits stehen auch einige Laubbäume. Größe zwischen 3-4 mm, "gemessen", war schwierig. Lieben Dank und viele Grüße, Heidi. @Christoph, #52421, die Pflanze kenne ich nicht :-(.

diesen absolut ungewöhnlichen Landeplatz auf einer sehr großen Blindschleiche suchte sich gestern Nacht dieser Leuchtkäfer aus. Eigentlich fotografierte ich die tolle Echse, aber er wollte wohl unbedingt mit aufs Bild. Da er so ca. 1cm groß war, rätsel ich nun. Ist das nun der Große Leuchtkäfer (Lampyris noctiluca) oder der Kleine Leuchtkäfer(Lamprohiza splendidula)? Gestern Nacht leuchteten die Glühwürmchen aber eigentlich nicht, obwohl es sehr klarer Himmel war. Das war im FFH Reliktwald Lampertheim West im Altbuchenbestand mit Totholz (wo die Echse ruhte), auf großer bewaldeter Düne.

von diesen Roten Schwarzkäfern, ca. 15mm groß, die wohl Uloma rufa sind, liefen gestern Nacht etliche auf stehendem und liegendem Totholz im FFH Reliktwald Lampertheim West herum. Hier z.B. einer auf Totholz auf einer großen bewaldeten Binnendüne. 09.07.2016

Comment: Hallo Sabine, bestätigt als Uloma rufa, denn ich meine den fehlenden Hinterrand der Halsschildecken auf Bild A zu erkennen, aber das ist seeeehr grenzwertig. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Holger Hm, da mach ich lieber Uloma sp. draus. Selbst die größere Uloma ciulinaris wird nur 12 mm groß, U. rufa ist mit 8-9 mm kleiner. Und der Halsschildhinterrand läßt sich an den Fotos kaum beurteilen. Beide Arten kommen im Lampertheimer Wald vor. LG, Christoph

dieser Schnellkäfer schlug gestern Nacht alle Geschwindigkeitsrekorde. Fotos deshalb nicht richtig 09.07.2016 scharf geworden. Ca. 15mm groß auf Altbuchenstamm, auf dem er herum rannte. Im FF Reliktwald Lampertheim West, auf einer großen bewaldeten Düne. Kann man ihn bestimmen?
