On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 06.08.2016 - Halyzia sedecimguttata?? Ich bin immer sehr gespannt, wenn ich eine (für mich) neue Art antreffe, ob ich ihr wohl den richtigen Namen zuordnen werde. Dieses Tier fand ich an einer Stechpalme und es wirkte in der Sonne fast durchscheinend ... elfenhaft. Es war froh, als es wieder in den Schatten der Blätter gehen durfte. Aargau, Waldwegrand Barmelweid ausserhalb der MTBs auf ca. 770 m üNN. Danke vielmals für Euren geduldigen Unterricht! LG Chris

Request: Diesen Buprestidae, 5 mm, habe ich am 4.8.16 am Waldrand auf Bärenklau bei 77764 Appenweier, (P+R Parkplatz)gefunden. Die rötlich-braunen, letzten Fühlerglieder sind auf diesem Bild leider nur schwer zu erkennen. Ich bin mir aber ziemlich sicher, dass es sich um Anthaxia podolica handelt.
