On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Dachte an Aphodius distinctus?

Merci
Species, family:

Das jetzige Foto A zeigt eindeutig Sitona lineatus. LG, Christoph

No date of discovery found. Please contact webmaster!
Request: So this has red legs & black 'nodes'. , but is to big to be Otiorhynchus geniculatus according to your data. So far I had that marked as Otiorhynchus armadillo ? Comment on that ?
If one gets specimen <= 9 mm, red & black legs -> Otiorhynchus geniculatus for sure ?
Species, family:
Otiorhynchus sp.
Curculionidae
Comment: Hi BubikolRamios, in this case I can just determine the genus Otiorhynchus. An expert for the Slovenian weevil fauna needs to have a look at the specimen itself. Sorry & best regards, Christoph
