On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Diesen Rüssler habe ich auch nach längerer Suche nicht finden können.
Geht es hier evtl. Richtung Magdalis.......? Habe jedoch keinen mit weißer Behaarung gefunden.
Fundort: Urmitz, Agrargebiet unter Rinde eines (fast) toten Holunderbusches.

Größe: 6 mm.

Comment: Hallo KD, hier handelt es wahrscheinlich um Grammoptera ruficornis. Man müsste aber die Länge des 2. Fühlerglieds erkennen und da tue ich mich an dem Foto schwer: Viel länger als breit: G. ruficornis. Kurz und so breit wie lang: G. abdominalis. Wenn also ein Foto da ist, auf dem zumindest ein Fühler scharf ist, dann ging's besser. Lg, Lukas

diesen Käfer habe ich am 17.11.2016 in Andalusien fotografiert. Fundort nahe Jimena de la Frontera auf 200m in verrottetem Kuhfladen. Länge ca. 17mm. Könnte das Pimelia rotundata sein?

Mit 10-12 mm ein richtiger Brocken. Das läßt mich vermuten, dass es sich um Aphodius rufipes handelt, aber sicher bin ich mir wie so oft nicht.
Fundort: Weitersburg, tot auf Waldweg.
Funddatum: 16.10.2016.
Größe: 10 mm im gefundenen Zustand, gestreckt sicher 11-12 mm.
