On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Tetropium castaneum, der gemeine Fichtensplintbock hat sich eingestellt. Länge ca. 17-18mm. Für die Waldlage hier kein exotischer Käfer. Funddatum 10.05.2017, 250m ü.NN, MTB 5516/1.

Comment: Hallo mesch, so für mich leider nicht sicher bestimmbar. Tetropium fuscum kann ich ausschließen, aber Tetropium castaneum (häufiger) und Tetropium gabrieli (seltener) sind beide möglich und aus HS gemeldet. LG, Christoph
