On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Slimguy, ich wäre für Scymnus frontalis. Allerdings kann ich bei Käfern im Briefmarkenformat nicht sicher bestimmen und kann Nephus quadrimaculatus nicht ausschließen. Sorry und viele Grüße, Holger Ich stimme Holger zu. Für Nephus passt zwar die Fld.-Zeichnung nicht. Aber plattgedrückt wie er ist, sieht er auch für S. frontalis komisch aus. Request: 29.03.2017 2,9 mm Metopsia clypeata (ich meine damit die die jetzt Metopsia Similis heißt). Die Schienen der mittleren und hinteren Beine haben keine Knick und sind auch nicht vorn und hinten verbreitert. Auf Bild A sieht man wenn man das vergrößert, dass das 6te Sternit nur wenig eingebuchtet ist (sorry hatte kein besseres Bild). Fund auf Sand nähe ehemaliger Dyckerhoff-Steinbruch
