On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

eine ca. 4 mm großer Käfer, ich hatte an eine Luperus gedacht (aber wahrscheinlich liege ich falsch). Gefunden am 26.5.2017 an der Außenwand des Musée National de Préhistoire in Les Ezies (Perigord).

Comment: Hallo Birgit, das sollte Cionus hortulanus sein. Die ähnlichen Arten, C. thapsus, C. nigritarsis und C. ganglbaueri kommen nur an Königskerzen und nicht an Braunwurz vor, und genau danach sieht die Knospe (Foto B) und das Habitat (Foto C) aus. LG, Christoph

Request: Und noch einer aus der Kategorie "Denkste": 27.05.2017; steiniger, schattiger Waldbach. 540m üNn. Ca.6mm. Ein Bembidion, bei dem ich im Dunkel des Waldes dachte, einen späktakulären Fund gemacht zu haben, da man die hinteren Makel kaum gesehen hat... ist aber vermutlich doch "nur" Bembidion tetracolum.
