Request: 19.06.2017; Wegrand, kleines Wäldchen, sehr steinig; saß unter einem Stein in sandiger Erde. Porec, Istrien. Ca.6,5-7mm. Vermute einen Tenebrionidae, habe aber nichts Passendes gefunden.

Comment: Moin Markus, mehr kann ich dazu leider auch nicht sagen. Ich vermute allerdings Unterfamilie Alleculidae. Da diese erst in neuerer Zeit zu den Tenebrionidae gestellt wurden, könnte ich mir vorstellen, dass bei Tenebrionidae die Suche noch sehr erschwert wird. Mal schauen, ob die anderen mehr dazu wissen. Request: Hallo Käferfreunde, Oryctes nasicornis hab ich heute (23.06.2017) früh beim Gartengießen aus den Tomaten gescheucht. Da er und seine Brutstätten ja geschützt sind, musste ich somit meiner Frau notgedrungen erklären, dass sämtliche Gartenarbeiten ab sofort eingestellt werden müssen. Somit fällt das Hecke schneiden morgen leider flach. Viele Grüße!

Request: 19.06.2017 Leipzig-Burghausen am Bienitz am Licht ich tendiere hier eher zu Uloma culinaris und nicht zu U.rufa ca.1cm aber das ist wohl schwer zu unzerscheiden am Bild!?

Comment: Moin adi, vor allem die Unschärfe der Bilder macht hier jede eindeutige Bestimmung nahezu unmöglich, da sich keinerlei verwertbare Merkmale erkennen lassen. Einzig die Krümmung und Habitus des Halsschildes lassen mich vermuten, dass man Deine Bestimmung bestätigen kann. Sicher ist das aber nicht. Viele Grüße, Klaas

Hadulla berichtigen: Es handelt sich Acanthocinus griseus. Boreomontane Art, in Mitteleuropa überwiegend im Gebirge, selten, schöner Fund. LG, Christoph

Request: Am 22.06.2017 im Garten gefunden, 4mm. Zunächst dachte ich an Sitona hispidulus, aber einige Merkmale, z.B. die verdickten Fühler und die fehlende Körperzeichnung, passen gar nicht. Geht da was? Danke
