On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Wien, 02.07.2017. Ein Phyllotreta (2,5 mm) auf Kohl. Zum Vergleich ein 4,5 mm großer Altica??? (auf Erbse gefunden), der vermutlich unbestimmt bleiben muss. Ich hoffe beim Quälgeist (frisst mir meinen Brokkoli weg) geht noch mehr. Grüße aus Wien!

Request: Im Wilditerpark Hohenbruch / Oberhavel, 02.07.2017, löste ich heute von einem Laubbaum ein Stück Rinde ab - darunter sah ich Dutzende dieser rot-schwarzen Käfer, die teils davonrannten und runterplumpsten, sich teilweise aber auch in Ritzen festhielten und zu verstecken suchten...

Request: 02.07.2017. Dutzende dieser Käfer flogen heute im Wilditerpark Hohenbruch / Oberhavel, herum und setzten sich dann meist in die tiefe Vegetation am Boden. Ich halte sie für Geotrupes vernalis, richtig?

Request: Liebes Kerbtier-Team, eine Meldung von Omaloplia nigromarginata, 02.07.2017. Dichte und abstehende Behaarung der Elytren gut zu sehen. O. ruricola kommt in Brandenburg nicht vor. Das fotografierte Tier stammt aus dem Park Sanssouci, wo eine gut bekannte Population von O. nigromarginata existiert. LG, Daniel
