On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Gestern war ein schöner Tag: auf 100 m Wegstrecke 25 Käfer gefunden - aus 15 Arten. Mehrere neu für mich, fast alle neu im MTB, und einer... aber das verrate ich noch nicht. Hier erstmal Athous haemorrhoidalis, 15 mm, im Darmstädter Norden am Waldrand, 4.5.18. Viele Grüße Kalli

am 29.04.2018 lief dieses Tier (Paederus cf. littoralis?) mit einer Größe von 10 bis 12 mm über das Dach meines Autos, leider etwas zu schnell für ein gutes Foto im Schatten.
