View answered requests for beetle ID
|
On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 20.6.2012, Piešťana, Slovakia, size 12-14mm
Species, family:
Oedemera flavipes
Oedemeridae
Comment: Hi Cilko, that should be a female of Oedemera flavipes. You know, I think we should find an expert for the fauna of Southeastern Europe to volunteer for the kerbtier.de ID team. Determining species just by photo requires to be familiar with all species that can be potentially confused - we're not yet there for Southeastern Europe, unfortunately. Regards, Christoph

Species, family:
Sitona griseus
Curculionidae
Comment: Moin Horst, Du bist ein Lümmel. Bild C ist eine andere Sitona, als Bild A und Bild B. A und B meiner Meinung nach eher S. griseus. Viele Grüße, Klaas Bild A und B halte ich für S. griseus. Bild C gelöscht, weil andere Art, bitte als separate Anfrage einstellen. LG, Christoph PS: Bitte keine Artnamen ins Bild eindrucken!
