Comment: Hi majo, this is Lichenophanes varius. In Central Europe the rare species survived from the time of the primeval forests. The eggs are laid in dead, standing beech (Fagus sylvatica). könnte es sich bei diesem flinken Laufkäfer um Nebria salina handeln? Ein weiteres Foto gibt es leider nicht...
Gefunden am 13.05.2018 im NSG Fröslev-Jardelunder Moor in einem Moorbirkenwald unter Holz am Boden.

Request: 18.05.2018; Innufer, sehr viele dieser braunen Chlorophanus an Weidensträuchern. Deutlich von den Chlorophanus gibbosus zu unterscheiden (Färbung,Größe), die teils an den selben Pflänzchen hockten. 450m üNn. Ca.10-12mm. Könnten das Chlorophanus graminicola sein? Hab mindestens 30 Stück gefunden und die sahen alle gleich braun aus... hmmm.

Comment: Hallo Markus, das kann eigentlich nur Chlorophanus graminicola sein. Die Flügeldecken sind jeweils etwas vorgezogen, der gelbe Rand ist scharf begrenzt und die Farbe passt auch (plus natürlich die Dornen am Hinterende der FD). In Bayern immerhin als RL3 eingestuft, für ganz Deutschland aber RL1. Ein super Fund! Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Corinna

Request: 18.05.2018 - Denticollis sp. (m)! Vor Ort dachte ich an einen D. rubens, aber da waren auch mehrere eindeutige D. linearis im Kraut. Vielleicht ist es einfach ein vom Unwetter völlig durchnässtes Tier!? Aargau, Feuerberg Oberfrick ausserhalb der MTBs auf ca. 400 m üNN. Danke vielmals für Eure stets spannenden Antworten! LG Chris

Comment: Hallo Chris, doch, das ist eindeutig ein Denticollis rubens, ein Männchen. Den erkennst Du an den lamellenartig ausgezogenen Fühlergliedern, die der linearis nicht hat, auch nicht das Männchen. Ein sehr schöner Fund! Es ist zwar eine eher montane Art, aber auch in der Schweiz selten, in Deutschland jedenfalls RL2. Viele Grüße, Corinna
