On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Henosepilachna argus, zu Dutzenden auf Roter Zaunrübe, bevorzugt an den Blüten fressend. Sehr süße Larven, bin voll verliebt. Comment: Hallo Christine, bestätigt als Plateumaris consimilis. Lebt hauptsächlich an größeren Seggen-Arten, aber die Imagines können auch mal woanders drauf sitzen. Ich hab die Käfer mal in Hahnenfußblüten in einem feuchten Graben gefunden, auch Sumpfdotterblume wird genannt. Die Seggen sind natürlich meist irgendwo in der Nähe. Danke für die Meldung.
